Mark Fidrych only played in the majors for one team - the Tigers. Can you name other players who appeared on a Kellogg's baseball card and also played on only one major league team or one franchise?
No hint - I haven't looked up who else might fit into this category but I can already think of some.

ReplyDeleteNice work. You are saving me lots of typing. That's 36 for 36. Five to go?
ReplyDeleteRoy white , Petrocelli
ReplyDeleteYou are getting close. I haven't been tracking the few that you've missed. It will be interesting to check on that tonight after a busy day.

ReplyDeleteAlmost got them all. I will double check because I think you are missing one.
ReplyDeleteStieb finished his career with the White Sox. All of the others are great answers. I've found one more that you missed.
ReplyDeleteAnyone for the last player? He played 11 years, coached for 23 more years and had multiple Kellogg's cards so this is not an obscure answer.
ReplyDeleteStottlemyre. I had a hand written list I had made up. He was on my first draft. But I didn't type him in .
ReplyDeleteI would have never gotten a bunch of these, especially Stottlemyre. His last Kellogg's card was the first year that I got a lot of them - 1972. I also was buying lots of cards in the years immediately after his retirement.
