1970 Kellogg's Baseball Card Backs - #61 - #63

Let's see what I can learn about the next three Kellogg's cards in the 1970 set.

#63 Tony Oliva - lots of information about his rookie season and his two batting titles.

Not on the card - His brother is actually named Pedro.  There's a story about how his name was switched to have him appear younger to scouts.

#62 Don Wilson - I didn't know that he tied three MLB records in one game.  I knew he'd thrown a no-hitter.

Not on the card - his 1969 no-hitter is not mentioned.

#61 Harmon Killebrew - born in June of 1936 and he played in the majors in 1954.  He led the league in homers four times and was named an all-star nine times in an eleven-year span.

Not on the card - he was still 17 when he played in his first MLB game.  Did they run out of space to mention his other two HR titles?  He added two more all-star teams (1970-71).
