Is Kellogg's a Major Card Set?

I really like the story found in the link below.  It includes all of my favorite things - baseball, baseball cards, Kellogg's, data and analysis.

http://blog.philbirnbaum.com/2013/06/hitters-who-never-appeared-on-baseball.html

The author is tracking down players with the most career at-bats without getting onto a baseball card. Think about who that might be before you read the article.

Hint - it's not Pete Rose.

  1. The only guy I recognized on his list was Joe Altobelli... who might not have a player issued Topps card, but he does have a few manager cards. As for your question... I've always considered Kellogg's a food issue or oddball issue... and not a major set. But that's just one random collector's opinion. I'm sure many would argue that "hell yeah" Kellogg's is a major set.
