Happy Birthday - Bert Campaneris

Today is the 75th birthday for Bert Campaneris.  He played in the days without cable television but we all knew him well because he played lots of post-season games with the A's.

He played in 37 playoff games and on three World Series winning teams.  He even hit three homers in those games.  Not bad for a guy who hit only about four homers per year.


He had more career steals than RBIs (649 to 646).  That's a lot of steals and 14th all-time.
